JOSEON DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The lid with a man holding a woldo (halberd) and a precious jewel, with four boy attendants carrying various auspicious objects, the background with stylised trees issuing from rocky outcrops and a band of triangles following the edge, the sides with further trees, the inside in red lacquer, 6cm x 31.5cm x 17.2cm.
