A JAPANESE KUTANI PORCELAIN TRAY
MEIJI PERIOD OR LATER, 19TH OR 20TH CENTURY
The square surface decorated with a central scene of many beauties and children by a lake, some standing underneath a canopy, their kimono richly coloured and embellished with gilt, the cavetto and rim with a border of brocade designs and geometric patterns, the underside left unglazed and marked Kutani with a six character signature, 36.4cm x 36.9cm.
