A JAPANESE SATSUMA BOWL
MEIJI OR TAISHO PERIOD, 19TH OR 20TH CENTURY
The well painted with two long-tailed birds perched in a flowering prunus tree, another bird flying towards them, with a mountainous river landscape in the background; the exterior with two large rectangular panels enclosing similar scenes, with bands of chevrons and other geometric designs encircling the foot, signed underneath, 15.5cm.
