A JAPANESE IRON BIJO MEN MENPO
EDO PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
The iron mask with elegant features in the bijo (beautiful woman) style, with a detachable nose and odome hooks for the cord on either side of the chin, the yodarekake with three kiritsune kozane iron plates covered in black urushi, the inside in red lacquer, 22.8cm.
