A JAPANESE SHUNGA EROTIC BOXWOOD SASHI NETSUKE
EDO PERIOD, 18TH OR 19TH CENTURY
The well-worn surface carved as Okame, the Goddess of Mirth holds a rounded mushroom in one hand and a double gourd in the other, her long robes opening loosely to reveal her cleavage, she smiles contentedly, unsigned, 15.5cm.
