A KHMER BRONZE STANDING FIGURE OF UMA
C.12TH CENTURY
Depicted standing in samabhanga wearing a sampot, she extends her hands before her grasping a single flower, with elaborate jewellery adorning her body and a large crown upon her head, together with a later wood stand, 25cm, 804g. (2)
Provenance: from a private collection, UK and USA, purchased from H M Luther Antiques, London, on 20th June 1969. A copy of the invoice is available.
