A CHINESE LACQUERED-WOOD FIGURE OF A DIGNITARY
QING DYNASTY
Carved seated in a chair dressed in official's robes, with a rank badge to his front, he raises one hand and holds an open book in the other, bearing a content expression on his face, all supported on a square pedestal, with a paper label for Artemesia to the base, 36.7cm.
Provenance: from a deceased estate, Hampshire.
