A PAIR OF CHINESE MANDARIN PALETTE BEAKER VASES AND A CANTON ENAMEL BOX AND COVER
18TH AND 19TH CENTURY
Each of the flaring cylindrical vases brightly painted with two large scenes of figures in gardens, the panels reserved on a geometric ground heightened with gilt, the box and cover decorated with shou characters and medallions enclosing flowers, all reserved on a pale pink ground, 18.7cm max, the box and cover 143g.
