A RARE CHINESE WHITE POTTERY STEM CUP

PROBABLY TANG DYNASTY

The plain body supported on a tall flaring foot decorated with a whirling ridge, the interior of the foot with paper labels for Bluett London, The Oriental Ceramic Society 1949 Exhibition, no.163, and Treble, no.19, 8.5cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Francis Golding (1944-2013), purchased from Michael Willcox on 27th September 2006.
