A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE MOONFLASK
19TH CENTURY
Decorated with two large roundels containing figural scenes, one depicting an official riding on horseback as an attendant carries his belongings behind, the other enclosing an old man carrying a staff standing under a pine tree with two attendants, the panels surrounded by many butterflies and blossoming flowers reserved on a green ground, with two applied handles shaped as mythical beasts to the shoulders, 43.8cm.
