A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BLACK-GROUND OVOID VASES FOR THE THAI MARKET
PROBABLY LATE QING DYNASTY
Each painted with four figures of Buddha seated upon a large lotus base with his hands held together in prayer, the panels divided by furling leaves and blossoms on a black ground, with underglaze blue rings to the bases, each together with a pierced wood cover and a wood stand raised on five tall S-shaped feet, 20.6cm.
