A PAIR OF CHINESE WUCAI BALUSTER VASES AND COVERS
TRANSITIONAL C.1640
Painted with beribboned precious objects and flowers amongst tall rocks and crashing waves, the covers similarly decorated, all reserved on a ground of iron-red swirls, with stylised geometric bands in underglaze blue to the shoulders, each with a green and black seal mark reading fu to the base, 40.5cm.
