A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE GREEN-GROUND VASE
REPUBLIC PERIOD
The pear-shaped body painted with two medallions enclosing figures fishing, eating and farming rice in rural landscapes, the scenes surrounded by large lotus blooms and scrolling leaves reserved on a pale green ground, set with two applied handles shaped as animal masks suspending rings, with a six character Qianlong mark to the base, 19.1cm.
