A CHINESE DOUCAI 'LOTUS' JAR

SIX CHARACTER QIANLONG MARK BUT PROBABLY LATER

The ovoid body painted with four panels containing stylised lotus flowerheads and leaf scrolls, the cartouches divided by smaller blooms and cloud motifs, with bands of overlapping petals to the shoulder and encircling the foot, together with a hardwood stand, 11.7cm. (2)
