Description

Political interest: a large Lambeth brown stoneware Reform Bill flask, formed with a portrait of a Lord Chancellor Brougham holding a banner inscribed 'The True Spirit of Reform', the reverse with an impressed factory mark for Doulton and Watts. Small chips to his nose and wig. c.1832, 36cm. A similar smaller example was donated to the Brighton Museum by Henry Willett in 1903.
