A William De Morgan Pottery Persian bowl by Charles Passenger, painted to the exterior with a frieze of walking griffin creatures, in turquoise, aubergine and blue, before scrolling green foliage, on a white ground, the interior boldly painted with radiating carnation stems in white and green on a turquoise ground, Painted W DE Morgan & Co Fulham, CP monogram and 2085, minor glaze chips, hairline to rim, 22.5cm. diam.
