A MATCHED PAIR OF BROWN STONEWARE SALTGLAZED POTTERY LIONS
POSSIBLY BRAMPTON, DERBYSHIRE, C.1830-40, ONE DATED '1836'
each modelled with a recumbent lion, one with its right paw raised slightly and with incised initials 'R. S.' and the date '1836', with hatched decoration to the bases and raised on four feet (2)
