PROBABLY LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH CENTURY
with a carved angel backplate, the circular dial with Arabic numerals, inscribed 'Tyme is Short, Night Cometh', with an hourglass hand, above an engraved tube, signed 'R. Tranter, Londini, Anno Dom 1617', with applied griffin plaques and a further panel, inscribed 'Charles Homer Bristol'
