Designed by Gerald Benney for Mappin and Webb, a commemorative silver jewellery box,
London 1981,
oblong form, with intertwined trellis decoration, the cover with the Prince of Wales feathers and Spencer crest, velvet lined interior with a tray, the underside with textured decoration and inscribed 'The Marriage of The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, 29 July 1981', also inscribed 'Designed by Gerald Benney' and 'Mappin and Webb Ltd.', in a fitted case, length 12.5cm.
