A matched George III silver-gilt Bright-cut pattern dessert service for twelve,
by George Smith, London 1783, the knives by Moses Brent, London 1791,
comprising twelve dessert forks, twelve dessert spoons and twelve dessert knives, engraved with a crowned crest, the knives with tapering handles, approx. weighable 32.5oz. (36)
The crest is that of Baron Harberton: Arthur Pomeroy (1723-1798), 1st Baron from 1783 and 1st Viscount Harberton from 1791.
