A Victorian Scottish silver-mounted agate snuff box,
by James Nasmyth & Co, Edinburgh 1850,
rounded rectangular form, engine-turned sides and base, foliate scroll thumb-piece, the hinged cover set with an agate panel, length 5.8cm.
Provenance: purchased from Sotheby's Collonade Sale, London 22 October 1998.
