An early 19th century gold-mounted bloodstone snuff box,
by La Veuve Lefrerre, Paris,
oval form, the base formed as single piece of bloodstone, plain mounts, with hinged cover with a bloodstone panel, length 6.3cm.
Provenance: purchased from Christie's New York, Fine Silver, 30 October 1990.
