Description
A mid 18th century French silver-gilt travelling perfume set,
some wear to marks,
comprising: a funnel of plain circular form, and four silver-gilt mounted glass scent bottles, of faceted circular form, plain mounts and stoppers, in a fitted shagreen case, the interior of the cover fitted with a mirror, with a lock and key, length 23.5cm.
Provenance: purchased from Sotheby's London, 9 June 1994.
