A George II provincial silver later spouted tankard,
by Isaac Cookson, Newcastle 1747, the later spout with London Assay Office addition marks for London 2021,
tapering circular form, central girdle, domed hinged cover with a scroll thumb-piece, the scroll handle with shell terminal, scratch initialled 'R' over 'T*E', the front with an armorial within foliate scroll mantling, height 20.2cm, approx. weight 30oz.
