Description
A Victorian electroplated beer set,
by Martin, Hall and Co.,
comprising: a beer jug of tapering circular form, scroll handle, on three large ball feet, with six matching beakers, on a grooved circular tray, on four ball feet, engraved with a monogram FA, for Fred Archer, height of beer jug 27cm, diameter of tray 45.5cm.
Provenance: purchased by William Gilbert, racehorse trainer, and then by descent to the current owner.
