worked with polychrome silks on a linen ground in various stitches, cross, satin, stem and straight, titled 'A Map of England and Wales', the counties outlined and named in black silk floss, with a colourful free-hand border of rosebuds, martagon lilies, carnations and other flowers, in a glazed giltwood frame
