the brass eight day movement with five finned and turned pillars, with an anchor escapement striking on a bell, the 11in dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed 'Tho Bridge London fecit', the matted centre engraved with flowers, with a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, with blued steel scroll hands and cherub mask spandrels, the marquetry case inlaid with panels of scrolling foliage, birds and flowers. the rising hood with a fret panel and spiral twist columns, the trunk door with a brass and glazed lenticle
