worked in coloured wools on a linen ground with a pouncing tiger with detailed whiskers, a pair of cats seated on taselled cushions, a dog, a pheasant or capercaillie and figures dancing, signed and dated 'Hannah Ripleys Work Aged 11 1846', in a glazed bird's eye maple frame
