A LATE VICTORIAN NEEDLEWORK ORPHAN PILLOWCASE
C.1880-90
worked with cross stitch with red cotton floss on a cotton ground, with two hymns 'Therefore the redeemed of the Lord' from Isaiah 15:11 and 'They shall hunger no more' from Revelation 7:16, in a later glazed ebonised frame
