λ Two late 18th century gold-mounted boxes, the first long oval-shaped patch box with base and hinged cover with striped two colour gold and tortoiseshell decoration, the cover with scrolling Rococo decoration to the centre, the base with tortoiseshell lining and cover with internal mirror, rubbed control marks, 12cm long, the second gold-mounted striated tortoiseshell navette-shaped box mounted with a glazed locket to the cover and velvet lined, 7cm long
