A SMALL JAPANESE METAL BOX AND COVER
MEIJI PERIOD OR LATER, 20TH CENTURY
The hinged lid decorated with a small owl perched on a flowering branch of prunus, the full moon behind it, the sides with chrysanthemum flowerheads floating amongst waves, the inside with thatched buildings in a landscape, signed, 2.8cm x 6.3cm x 3.9cm.
