A MASSIVE SAMSON IMARI DISH
19TH CENTURY
The well decorated with a large shaped panel enclosing a ho-o bird perched amongst flowering branches of prunus, chrysanthemum and paulownia, the cavetto and rim with complex designs of further panels with birds, flowers and scrolling tendrils in gilt, the base with a stylised haru mark, 52.2cm.
