TWO JAPANESE OKIMONO OF ANIMALS
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
The first in bronze and depicting a seated tiger, the big cat with a long tail resting on its back and its head turned to the left; the other a wood carving of a plump puppy, its eyes inlaid with dark beads, signed Masanao underneath, 9cm and 8.5cm. (2)
