A PAIR OF CHINESE HUANGHUALI SOUTHERN OFFICIAL'S HAT OPEN ARMCHAIRS, NANGUANMAOYI

PROBABLY 17TH CENTURY

The gently curved splats carved in relief with curling chilong cartouches, the arms with lingzhi and leaf supports, the rectangular rattan seats above plain square-section legs join by stretchers, 118cm x 54cm x 44cm. (2)
