A PAIR OF LARGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'NINE PEACHES' BOTTLE VASES, TIANQIUPING
LATE 19TH CENTURY
The bulbous bodies rising to tall slender necks, decorated with vibrant peaches and brightly coloured pink and white blossoms, with delicate blue-green leaves spreading from gnarled branches, each with two iron-red bats in flight and a six character Qianlong mark to the base, 53.6cm. (2)
Provenance: from an English private collection; purchased c.2002, formerly in the collection of Aldourie Castle, Scotland.
