A CHINESE YAOZHOU 'PEONY' BOWL
SONG/YUAN DYNASTY
Covered with an olive-green glaze, suffused with a network of crackles, the interior carved with two lotus blooms and a lotus leaf to the centre, the unglazed base exposing the biscuit body, with a paper label for the South Africa National Gallery Chinese Exhibition 1953, no.123, 17cm.
