A SMALL CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'GEESE IN A POND' BOWL
SIX CHARACTER JIAJING MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1522-66
The conical body decorated with four geese in a continuous scene of an aquatic landscape, with a double band in underglaze blue to the short circular foot and both the interior and exterior rims, the well of the bowl decorated with a single duck perched on a rock amidst swaying reeds, 8.7cm.
