A CHINESE REVERSE GLASS PAINTING OF THE HONGS OF CANTON
19TH CENTURY
The vibrantly painted rectangular panel depicting foreign factories, with the flags of France, America, Britain and Denmark, the foreground with six vessels travelling downstream on the Pearl river, two fly red and gold banners, contained in a wood frame, 9cm x 13.1cm.
