A CARVED INDIAN HARDWOOD PANEL FRAGMENT
17TH CENTURY
Depicting Vishnu lying on the serpent Anantha with seven hoods in the ocean, attended by two consorts Sredevi and Bhoodevi, from Vishnu's navel Brahma rises, all mounted on a metal panel, together with a receipt of Natesan's Antiqarts, Bombay, 28th March 1970, 55cm.
