16TH/17TH CENTURY
The central figure of Shakyamuni flanked by two bodhisattvas, each holding a lotus bud, with an elaborate mandorla with a five-headed cobra shielding the central figure, all surmounted by an animal mask, the figures slotting into a base decorated with geometric patterns and raised on four zoomorphic legs, 1.1kg, 22cm.
