A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE MING STYLE 'DRAGON' JAR

Decorated with two dragons amidst scrolling clouds, above a band of crashing waves and rocks, the shoulder alternately painted with qilin and phoenix surrounded by lotus scrolls, the base unglazed, with a carved wood stand, 40cm wide. (2)
Provenance: from an English private collection, West Yorkshire, formed in the 1970s and 1980s.
