A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE SQUARE-SECTION 'FIGURAL' VASE
LATE QING DYNASTY
Painted with panels containing Guandi holding his sword and riding a tiger, and with further figures including a dignitary with two attendants and figures of maidens in a garden with trees and rockwork, the shoulder further decorated with auspicious objects, surmounted by a flared neck with boys in a fenced garden, the unglazed base with a recessed glazed square, 51.3cm.
