A CHINESE CARVED QINGBAI STYLE 'FISH AND LOTUS' DISH
QING DYNASTY
The shallow dish is potted with low flared sides rising from a short foot with a metal-mounted rim, with a central roundel enclosing an incised dragon, with two fish and alternating lotus sprays towards the rim, the dish is covered with a light-blue tinted translucent glaze, with a paper label for the South Africa National Gallery Chinese Exhibition 1953, no.126, 23.2cm.
