A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'POPPY' CUP AND COVER
PROBABLY REPUBLIC PERIOD
The U-shaped body rising from a straight foot to a slightly everted rim, the exterior enamelled with multicolour poppies in different stages of bloom amongst leafy stems, the slightly domed cover with further poppy and aster blossoms, the base and cover with a six character Daoguang seal mark in iron-red, 11.2cm wide.
