A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE YELLOW GROUND 'FIVE DRAGONS' DISH
20TH CENTURY
Painted with scaly dragons contesting sacred pearls, with flames and flowering blooms around the beasts, the design reserved on a vibrant yellow ground, encircled by bands of ruyi-heads and floral scrolls, the base with a four character Qianlong mark in iron-red, 33.2cm.
