Austria-Hungary: Cross of Merit in Gold with Crown, Franz Joseph I, gilt-bronze cross with red enamelled arms, circular centre with initials ''FJ' and legend 'VIRIBUS UNITIS' to a white enamelled ground, reverse with date 1849, articulated suspension crown with red enamelled caul, tri-fold peacetime ribbon, crack to enamel on right hand obverse arm, good very fine or better.
