An Austrian model 1850 infantry officer's sword, slightly curved fullered blade 34.25 in., maker's mark of F.S. Jung (five Maltese crosses); steel hilt with narrow shell guard extending in front to form a knuckle bow and at the back to form a scroll pierced for a sword knot, wire bound shagreen grip, steel scabbard with two domed lockets.
