An Austrian model 1877 mounted artillery trooper's sword, curved fullered blade 30.25 in., marked for the manufacturer (JUNG WIEN), further marked with a rack number (9) and a unit designation (FH12)*; steel hilt with broad knuckle bow, back quillon with sword knot slot and pierced terminal, back strap with ears, shagreen grip.
