A Portuguese 8x60mmR Steyr-Kropatschek infantry rifle, by Österreichische Waffenfabrik-Gesellschaft, barrel 32 in. with tangent back sight mounted on the octagonal knox form, bolt action with tube magazine under the barrel, magazine cut-off lever to the right hand side of the action body, standard military configuration of stock and barrel bands - the foremost band with bayonet bar, steel clearing rod accommodated to the left of the fore stock.
