An Austrian model 1798 flintlock cavalry pistol, 16 bore barrel 9.5 in., marked '2 E N 175' to the left side of the breech; lock plate marked '853' (for 1853), ring necked cock, brass pan, beech full stock with brass furniture including double-strapped band at the muzzle and grip cap marked '2 B' over '179', iron lanyard ring, vacant ram rod channel with brass pipe.
